Is it safe to go through breast implant surgery with toenail fungus? (photo)

Probably the safest way to proceed with me to have your toenail fungus treatment completely. After your toenail fungus has been completely treated then proceed on with your breast augmentation. The last thing that you would like to happen would be to have a fungus get around your implant. Good luck. 

Make sure to let your surgeon know that you are having an issue with toenail fungus, but it shouldn't effect your surgery date. Unless they feel that for some reason it isn't safe, you should be able to have your breast augmentation whenever you schedule it. It is best to be honest about all medical conditions though because every surgeon has different protocol.

Dear IttyBitty,There are no containdications (reasons against) doing a breast augmentation while yoiu are using a nail fungus cream.  The fungus itself is not a contraindication either.Dr Taranow, NYC

I see no reason to cancel. BUT it is up to your chosen surgeon to decide if this is a canceling reason....
