Which garment is the best for tt and hernia repair??

Thank you for your question and congratulations on your recent tummy tuck. I recommend wearing a compression garment for 4 - 6 weeks following tummy tuck surgery. Marena makes quality post operative support garments. You should also follow your plastic surgeon's advice regarding level of physical activity and use of a compression garment. Hope this helps!

Thank you for sharing your question.  Your surgeon may have specific recommendations but if not consider Marena and Veronique as viable options for compression garments. 

After the initial week with an abdominal binder and removal of drains I recommend any compression garment with leggings that is a size smaller than what is usually used. This saves a great deal of money on expensive "medical grade" compression that is truly no better. You will also be able to have it fit better since you know body. 

Your surgeon may have a company that he/she prefers for garments.  If not, you can order from companies such as Marena online and they can deliver the garments to your home.  You will need to have someone take very accurate measurements to provide to the company to ensure the best fit for you.

I have my patients stop wearing the first stage garment after 6 weeks as it can start to leave permanent indentations if worn longer. My favorite 1st stage garment is Design Veronique. You should really ask your PS what they recommend as they may  also not want you in a first stage garment for more than another week or so. I don't have a favorite 2nd stage garment.
