Radix is above my eye. What can be done to fix this?

I had an Asian rhinoplasty done in Banobagi, South Korea 15 months ago and my radix is unaturally above my eye. I also specifically voiced my concerns about a high radix pre op. They also didnt provide me with table photos when I asked for it. I dont think they took table photos at all. What can be done to fix this? I feel so insecure about my side profile.

There exist a variety of techniques for augmenting the dorsum during Asian rhinoplasty. Techniques utilizing synthetic grafts and en bloc cartilage techniques will typically have swelling resolve within the first year, while diced cartilage fascia techniques may take up to two years. Without photos or your operative details it's difficult to determine the best course of action, but at 15 months, if you have not already, you could have your surgeon (or local surgeon) inject kenalog/5-fluouracil to eliminate any remaining swelling and reduce any scar tissue in the area. If the radix height remains excessive, a revision rhinoplasty would be necessary to create the appropriate shape.

High radix is a common problem that makes the nose unnatural in Asian rhinoplasty. Many surgeons try to augment the bridge too high by inserting a big implant. If you had a alloplastic implant to augment the bridge, changing it into a smaller one is necessary. If you had bridge augmentation with autologus cartilage or anything else, revision rhinoplasty that lowers the starting point of the nose is required.
