I had corrective jaw surgery, which has inadvertently shortened my nose, raised the tip, & widened my nostrils. This is more noticeable when I smile. While I appreciate the improvements it has made to my side profile, I’m not satisfied with the changes to my frontal features. I noticed that many Asian rhinoplasties often result in an over-exaggerated bridge look, which isn’t something I desire.

Long term rhinoplasty will not affect your diving abilities. However during recovery your surgeon will advise that you hold off on diving. The time in which you are asked to avoid diving will be advised by your surgeon. Best of luck.
