Is it possible to stretch scars by lifting heavy weights doing biceps and triceps please? Or does scar tissue not stretch? Thank you so much.
Answer: Scars If you are trying to bulk up with weight lifting and steroids, you will gain weight and skin does stretch. Usually, scars do not stretch as much as the skin. If you are trying to tone, your scars will probably not change.

Answer: Arm lift arm reduction brachioplasty arm lift expert brachioplasty expert arm lipo skinny arm arm lift scars lifting weights Thank you for your question regarding arm lift scars and whether is it possible to stretch arm lift scars by lifting heavy weights. The answer to this question is not that straight forward. You must understand that once scar tissue is created it is molded and manipulated for approximately two years. During that time collagen is constantly being repaired and replaced. During the acute healing it is possible to stretch out your arm lift scars. However two years after the procedure, a risk lift for arm lift scar stretching is significantly decreased. My advice to you is that I would wait four to six months after your initial arm lift before you engage in heavy lifting. When you are lifting I would be sure you have support over the biceps and triceps. If you notice any stretching of the scar, I would immediately stop. I hope this helps answer your question whether it's possible to stretch your arm lift scars by lifting heavy weights. I specialize in arm lifts. I hope that I have answered your questions regarding the arm reduction. Since a brachioplasty or arm lift surgery is a difficult procedure, please seek an experienced, board certified plastic surgeon with significant experience performing these types of arm lifts. Do your research. Make sure your chosen plastic surgeon has performed at least 100 arm lifts. Make sure they have the before and after pictures to prove it. Carefully examine their before and after pictures and check their reviews on RealSelf. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen. Answer: Yes It is possible, but you can slowly increase your heavy weights after the incisions have fully healed after surgery. Scar tissue will never be 100% as strong as your native skin.
