It is raised up it has only been 9 days since operation. How can i make sure it goes away and how long does it take a hematoma to become a scar lump, Is it to early to heat and massage ? thanks
Answer: Scar nodules after hematoma Once the hematoma results, you may be at risk for a scar nodule. I would massage the area with Plato's Scar Serum followed by occasional Kenalog injection.Best, Dr. KaramanoukianRealself100 Surgeon

Answer: See a Doctor for a Formal Evaluation--hematoma after cyst removal I recommend following up with your Doctor for a formal evaluation and if necessary, treatment. This may require drainage. I recommend Silagen + Bioshield to promote healing. Any scarring can be improved with lasers and microneedling/prp. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Scar Many thanks for your question. I would advise seeing your surgeon directly for advice. You're right massage can help scars but at this early stage seek their assessment in-person regarding further management of the lump you have. All the best, Jonathan
