I have poor kidney function right now I'm at 18% can I still get them done so that it's not an painful anymore to wear any type of underwear or wiping. They're caused by hormones and after expressing the cysts the labia now droop horribly can they be fixed? They also rub against anything that I wear and rub open dysis already expressed and there's so many of them I'm pretty desperate.
Answer: Vulvar cysts I am sorry for your troubles regarding your kidneys and drooping labia. There are procedures to remove the Bartholin cysts, but they are pretty involved. The entire cyst wall can be removed or sew open. However, if you under go a labiaplasty, it may be possible to get the entire cyst wall. Your symptoms seem pretty significant, but you will need medical clearance to undergo this elective procedure, but if it can be done with local numbing medicine, you have a good chance of being cleared for the procedure. Good luck.

Answer: What to do about labial cysts? Your story is incomplete. However, iIf you've got poor kidney function, you need to get medically stabilized and cleared before any surgical procedure. That said, the hormonal issues you mention will not go away by doing any work on the labia and the problem may continue to repeat on the remaining skin. See your gynecologist for some creams that might help. See an endocrinologist for hormone management.

Answer: I have consistent large labial cyst. Can I get rid of them as well as rejuvenating the labia? (Photo) Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. I would definitely discuss the labial cysts with your ob/gyn for improvement in your pain. Once under control an improvement in the appearance of your labia can then be offered.

Answer: Vaginal cyst The short answer is yes. If your labia are causing you discomfort then you should explore having them removed. Due to your medical condition I would avoid elective surgery if possible but if you are having sig problems that's a different situation. As far as the cyst go it depends on what is causing them. If it is hormonal then they will probable still come back. If it is from rubbing then they should improve. You should seek out someone who has experience in vaginal reconstruction as well as disorders of the vulvar and vaginal area for an evaluation.
