I currently have 660cc saline high profile breast implants but I want to go to 1000cc plus breast implants how can I find a doctor in southern California who can perform this ?thank you

Answer: Choosing a surgeon Dear babylove3,finding the right Dr. is extremely challenging especially with the number of online platforms and resources available. There a lot of great Dr's available. Definitely check to make sure your choice specializes in the procedure you want and spend the time to read through patient testimonials.

Answer: Large implants I don't think 1000 cc implants are a good idea at all, but I can assure you that you will be able to find a surgeon more than willing to do it. In my opinion, too much weight, and there will eventually be problems with sagging and thinning if the skin that will be hard to reverse.

Answer: I want to get 1000 cc plus breast implants? Thank you for the question. Keep in mind as you are thinking about your goals that sometimes adjustment of the breast implant pockets (capsule adjustments) may be necessary to achieve the outcome you are looking for. .

Answer: 1000 cc implants The largest size silicone implant available in this country is 800 cc. Therefore the only way to achieve a 1,000 cc augmentation is to overfill an 800 cc saline implant. I have done this on numerous occasions. However, you must be aware that any implant this size is quite heavy and will exert more stretch force on your existing breast tissue. Also, when a saline is overfilled to this extent it will be quite firm, round, and may be prone to premature rupture or leak. Having said this, some patients looking for a large augmentation choose this option and are generally happy with their decision. I hope this information helps!Thomas Taylor, MD, FACSPasadena, CA
