Will wearing the binder post op keep augmented breasts closer together?

I had 371 mod plus on my first BA. Didn't like the size or large gap so had am implant exchange for 750cc hp. PS told me to wear binder the first 24 hrs then switch to sports bra. I'm just wondering if I used the binder longer will it keep my breasts closer together and prevent the gap and my breasts going outwards too much (in my final result).

Binders and bands are commonly used after BA surgery to position implants in a particular way.  If used in the first few weeks these can have a long term effect on the position of the implants.  If you notice that the band helps your implant positioning and your surgeon is in agreement, I would lean towards wearing it to help ensure you are happy with the final implant positioning.

Some surgeons use binders for different reasons, and without more information it is difficult to say. Best to follow with your surgeon.
