Help! Is it possible some lip filler leaked out of my busted lip? (Photos)

Question

A few weeks ago I got attacked by a dog who completely split my top lip open. It was completely open where I could spread it open and see my teeth. I got stitches an hour after the attack. The doc asked me if I had lip filler. She said it makes a difference. I should have asked why it made a difference but I just wanted the whole thing to be over. It it possible some leaked out of the cut? I’ll see my injector in person but for now I’m here in hopes to get a sooner answer. Thank you!

I'm sorry to hear about the dog attack and glad you are okay.  Yes if your lip was cut open it is possible some of the filler could have been impacted.  It appears from your photos that you are healing without complications.

Thank you for your question and including photos.  Sorry to hear about your dog bite.  Yes, it is definitely possible for filler to have leaked out of your open wound.  But, I do not believe it will have any affect on your healing.
