I'm 7 days post rhinoplasty and I have blurred vision. Did rhinoplasty cause this?

I have had septorhinoplasty on 26th november and it was fine until now but I just woke up to blurred vision/eye sight. I have to keep my face close to comprehend what's written on the monitor screen. IS THIS BECAUSE OF RHINOPLASTY? Because I've been freaking out all this time. I always get that I have pretty eyes and I've had perfect sight till now. I am a 20 year old male. None of my parents have bad eye sight or wear glasses, none of my siblings have it.

Thank you for your question.While blurry vision may occur shortly after surgery due to medications and eye-protecting ointments we use during the procedure, it is not common to have blurry vision that starts a week following surgery.  I recommend contacting your surgeon to schedule an evaluation.

It is NOT common for rhinoplasty alone to cause a blurred vision. Sometimes, anesthesia anti-nausea patches (Scopolamine) are left on patients too long and that could be the cause.  Be sure to discuss with your own surgeon about how this applies to you, and whether they have any special concerns in your case.
