I appreciate your question. The size of implant best for you is dictated by yourchest wall measurements. Once we determine that we can choose the profilebased on what you want or need to achieve. If you are seeking a natural look, then the diameter of the implantshould be equal to or, more ideally, smaller than the width of your breast. Thebreast width is a measurement of how wide your breast is at the base, whichshould be measured at the level of the nipple. Choosing an implant that issmaller in diameter than your breast width will avoid the "sidebreast" fullness that is often associated with a more artificialappearance. Other than that, you should choose the implant based onvolume, not on the dimensions of the implant. Silicone will give you a fullness at thetop (upper pole fullness).Silicone implants come pre-filled with asilicone gel and are the softest implant available. They feel more natural, which makes them a good option for women with less natural breast tissue; butthey require a larger incision. It may be more difficult to realize if thistype of implant has ruptured, so it is important to monitor them with annualfollow-up visits. Additionally, because this implant contains a more liquid silicone(less cross-linked), if this implant should rupture, it will leak only into thescar capsule formed around the implant but may cause some discomfort or implantdistortion.Anatomic gummy bear implants might be agood choice to give you volume. These highly-sought-after, anatomicimplants offer a look that more closely resembles the natural silhouette of abreast, and, therefore, are a very attractive option for individuals seeking anatural-looking, aesthetic primary breast augmentation. Additionally, theseimplants are an especially excellent option for patients undergoing restorativeor corrective breast surgery because they provide more stability, shape, andreduced incidence of capsular contracture. Compared to other types of siliconegel implants, the silicone in the cohesive gel implant is more cross-linked;therefore, should the implant shell “rupture,” it maintains its shape andsilicone does not leak.During your breast augmentationconsultation, you should feel the different types of implants available, andtry on various implant sizers in front of a mirror to help you to get an ideaof how you will look following the surgery. You should also bring pictures ofthe look you would like to achieve, as well as a favorite top to wear whentrying on implant sizers. The best way to assess and give trueadvice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plasticsurgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery.Best of luck!Dr. Schwartz
Hi. I agree that ideally we need to see photos however the desciption of your small frame gives some indication. I would have thought 300- 325 cc would be very adequate. 400 cc would be too big for most women of your size. regards
Hello Thank you for your question. Having photos would definitely aid in assessing what would be best for your body type. Discussing this with a board certified plastic surgeon in person can also really help guide you to figure sizes out; as you can try on different implants. The difference in fullness for 325 to 400 is about 1 or 2mm. Best regards
Hi,Thanks for posting your question. I am happy to try and help you. There is really no way to accurately predict what size you would like without anexamination. During your examination and consultation, you should try on somesample sizes and see what you are comfortable with. This is an accurateapproximation of what you would get. If in doubt, go up one size from the oneyou like. Then the PS can help explain with the size and current condition ofyour breasts the effects of those sized implants will have on you. If you have accomplished this step, then trust your plastic surgeons advice asto what would be the best size for you. They have the experience. If you areuncomfortable, go on another consultation.Best wishes,Dr. Michael J. Brown Northern Virginia Breast Augmentation
Thank you for your question.I think you will achieve the results you wish and the size is reasonable. But rather than focusing on the type of implant profile or the number of cc's or bra cup size (with is inaccurate and manufacturer dependent), I would recommend you communicate very clearly your expectations and desires. Your plastic surgeon will decide with you on the profile of the implant based on the breast width, your body shape, skin elasticity and thickness and native breast tissue present. In my practice I usually explain the implant types, profile and rationale for using different implants/ profiles. I also use the a special sizing system pre-op and have patients try them inside a bra so they can get a sense of their look. I never tell them what size I have picked until they show me the "look" they REALLY desire by trying on the sizing system in our office. Then we sit down and evaluate "the look" they have chosen and see if it matches what I have chosen by measurements and physical exam. It does make it both fun and is a healthier partnership between patients and the PS. Speak with your plastic surgeon.
Thank you for the question. Online consultants will not be able to provide you with specific enough advice to be truly helpful. Ultimately, careful communication of your goals (in my practice I prefer the use of goal pictures, direct examination/communication in front of a full-length mirror, and computer imaging) will be critical. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering breast augmentation surgery ( regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is:1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work.2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals we have time for a you their stuff's's homewith your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. For example, I have found that the use of know words such as “natural” or "C or D cup” or "fuller, busty look" etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on him who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. Again, the use of computer imaging has been very helpful during the communication process, in our practice.3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery, after the use of temporary intraoperative sizers.I hope this (and the attached link, dedicated to breast augmentation surgery concerns) helps. Best wishes for an outcome that you will be very pleased with.
My advice would be to try on some implants or even get a 3D simulation done to get an idea of what size might work best for your breast shape and body type. Don't get caught up in cc's!

Hello dear, thanks for your question and provided information, I suggest you to get a consultation with your surgeon, because this abscesses are not an uncommon occurrence, and they close by their own.. But if you don't see any difference day by day, you should go to your doctor
Depending on the individual anatomy and desired results, estimations and measurements should be made for each patient individually after a detailed mutual conversation. The elements that form up the breast shape and size and the overall frame can be different in each person. It will be best to...
