I am 5'4 and weight 120lbs. No kids. I'm not sure my exact bra size. I find it comfortable to wear a C cup due to my breasts being wider (A and B cups cut into my breast) and have a band size of 30, but I definitely do not fill them out, not even close. My breasts are very small and my skin seems to not be very loose or anything. I really want to be a D or a DD. Do I have enough breast tissue? Would gaining weight help? Thank you.
Answer: DD cup size From the look of your preop photos you appear to be a perfect candidate for breast augmentation. It should not be too difficult to create a breast size and shape you are comfortable and really happy with. Remember that it's not just size but also height, width, cleavage, round vs. natural fullness on top, etc. Also, cup sizes are a bit subjective person to person and different bra styles may fit differently. Find topless photos of breasts you like and use the photos to convey your goals to the surgeons you consult with. It is possible to go to a DD size (at least my idea of what a DD looks like) in one step. Your skin and muscle will stretch and accommodate that size implant but you will be a bit more sore, take a little longer to recover, and have more risk of nipple sensation changes and possible stretch marks. I hope this information helps you in this process!Thomas Taylor, MD, FACSPasadena, CA

Answer: Your anatomy and your goals Depending on the individual anatomy and desired results, estimations and measurements should be made for each patient individually after a detailed mutual conversation. The elements that form up the breast shape and size and the overall frame can be different in each person. It will be best to consult a board certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in cosmetic breast surgery in person and discuss your goals and options after a physical examination.

Answer: Breast augmentation sizing I appreciate your question. The best way to find an implant size is to measure your chest wall and see what fits.Going too large for your body can create problems down the roadThe best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery.best of luck!Dr Schwartz

Answer: Choosing the Right Size Implant A breast augmentation will definitely give you your desired volume, but choosing the right size implant depends on any number of factors such as your "breast footprint", desired outcome, lifestyle, skin condition and body type. And it definitely requires a in person exam. I would advise you to schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area who can take your measurements and give you a truly accurate recommendation. However, gaining weight is no the answer. Good luck.

Answer: 5'4", 120 lbs, no kids. Very small and flat but want go to a DD. Thank you for your question and pictures. You certainly can be a D or DD. The only issue may be how much your skin can stretch in the initial procedure. Sometimes, if the skin is tight, you how limited on how big you can go. You would have to wait a few months for skin to stretch and then have bigger implants put in. You should find a local board certified Plastic Surgeon who can make a recommendation after examining you and taking into account your skin thickness and pliability.
