Thank you for your question. Every surgeon has their own set of prices. I would recommend searching for a board certified plastic surgeon and asking them directly. All the best,
I appreciateyour question.Cost variesby geographic location, surgeon expertise, OR time, anesthesia, length ofprocedure etc. I would recommend that you go to The American Society ofPlastic Surgery website and look for a list of board certified plastic surgeonsin your area. You can call their offices in advance and ask for quotesprior to scheduling consultations. The best wayto assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see aboard-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorativeplastic surgery.Best of luck!Dr. Schwartz
Tummy tuck factors varysignificantly for a number of good reasons: Prices vary greatly because thesurgery itself encompasses a wide range of techniques that can be performed to differentextents. My recommendation is to first find the most qualified surgeons whereyou want the surgery performed that are board certified by the AmericanBoard of Plastic Surgery you trust, then compare prices between them. See thebelow link on suggestions on how to find the most qualified plastic surgeon foryour procedure. General Factors that influence the price of plastic surgery include:1. Location - Will it be performed in a hospitalwith an overnight stay, an independent out- patient facility or a doctor’soffice? Geographical location also has a significant influence. RealSelf has averagecharges for most areas of the USA.2. Type of Anesthesia - local, IV sedation orGeneral Anesthesia? Will a board certified anesthesiologist, nurse anesthetist,or an RN be used? 3. Experience andtraining of your surgeon. The best and longest trained is most often a plastic surgeonboard certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery 4. Length andComplexity of Surgery - how difficult will your surgery be and how long itwill take, etc. Will other complementary procedures also be also performedduring the same surgery?
Costs for a tummy tuck will certainly vary depending on your geographic location. Things to factor in for the tummy tuck standpoint will be the facility fee, anesthesia fee, surgeon fee, other fees (e.g., liposuction, surgical garment, etc.) A range in price ~$7000-15000 is not unreasonable. $8-11K would be a reasonable cost on average. A consultation with a plastic surgeon will help you in determining which procedure(s) would be the right one for you. Cost also depends on the complexity of your case and how much work would need to be done to achieve an aesthetically-pleasing tummy for you. Good luck!
Hello! The cost varies a lot from surgeon to surgeon and even based on the city. Also the patient's anatomy matters-- there are small -- medium and large-- and even extra large!I would say the ballpark is $5000- $8000.... but you will have to ask YOUR surgeon!Good luck.
Hello and thank you for reaching out. It's very difficult to specify a price, or even a price range for the a tummy tuck by geographic region. There are many factors that play into the overall price for a procedure, as well as what is included in the price. Better to start looking by city and then narrow it down from there. Just be sure the surgeon is board certified before making your final choice. Best Wishes.
Thank you for the question. When it comes to cost of surgery, there may be many “variables” involved. The specific surgeon's credentials/experience level (or lack thereof), the specific geographic area you are looking at, the different operations available, the location of the procedure ( quality of surgery facility), type/quality of anesthesia provider… are some of the potential variables involved. In regards to outcome of the planned procedure, more important than costs of the procedures will be careful selection of your plastic surgeon. I would suggest starting with the American Society of Plastic Surgery and/or the Aesthetic Society of Plastic Surgery to obtain a list of well experienced board-certified plastic surgeons. Then, I would suggest you visit a few surgeons whose practices concentrate on aesthetic surgery. Ask to see lots of examples of their work and preferably speak/see patients who have had similar procedures done.Be very careful with your decision-making. You will find, while doing your due diligence, that there are many different “specialties” who will offer their services to you; again, I strongly recommend you concentrate on surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.I would also suggest that you do not base your selection of plastic surgeon primarily on costs of surgery; keep in mind that revisionary surgery may be more costly in many ways. I hope this, and the attached link/video, helps.Best wishes.
Thank you for the question. Thank you for your question. There are many factors in the wide range of Tummy Tuck pricing. It depends on the geographical area you are located in, the facility the surgery is performed at, your surgeons credentials. In my practice the price for a Full Tummy Tuck is $6,875.00. This includes your surgeon fee, follow up checks, the use of the OR suite, the anesthesia, and recovery time. As always, I recommend that you have a consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. Best of Luck.
Tummy tucks can cost between 7 to 12K depending on how large your belly is, whether you need an extended tummy tuck, and whether you need a mini or full tummy tuck. Please note that the later is determined by the degree of skin redundancy as well as whether you muscles are stretched out or not.
Although your belly will look nice, you are going to have a lateral thigh and lower back and flank tuck to address what we call dog ears and pleating of your incision line.
Many thanks for posting your question. It is unlikely that laughing will damage your abdomen - the one thing I would suggest, is that holding a pillow/cushion against your tummy when laughing, coughing or sneezing may make things feel more secure in this early periodGood luck!
Based on your preop photos, I think you have had a good tightening of your muscles. There is a limit to how tight you can be made; as well you may have some thinning of your muscles that can only be corrected with a biologic mesh overlay. I think what you are concerned about is not swelling but...
