Hi, I had FUE procedure 11 days ago. I had 3500 grafts. I am concerned about my donor area as I think it is overly harvested. Please see the photo attached. I can see patches in it where hair are removed too closely and area left with bald patches. my doctor said it will fill but I am not convinced

It is best to contact your doctor about post operative care and instructions since each doctor has a different regimen. Most doctors would say smoking is bad for new grafts but there is no studies that prove or disprove this idea.

You may start to wash your transplant area at second day of surgery with care and massage the transplant area gently so the scabs will fall off... After two weeks of hair transplantation it is acceptable to wash hairs as normal /preoperative period of surgery. All scabs should be cleane...
