The safest type of surgery is a conservative, superficial liposuction and superficial transfer procedure performed by an expert in a healthy patient with no medical problems or previous surgeries.
Great question. The safest lipo and BBL techniques are practiced by experienced board certified plastic surgeons, who operate at certified facilities, and have done a ton of BBLs. All surgeries carry risks so choose your surgeon carefully and let him, or her, tell you about the technique used. Shop around, and do not be too shy to ask a simple question; how many Brazilian butt lift and Lipo-suction procedures did you do, last year, doctor? Do not settle for vague answers, no one forgets exactly how many BBLs she, or he did! Get an exact answer, and you'll be in good hands.
There are many different techniques of liposuction and BBL. The best one is the one that gives the best Results, Reliably and Safely. I have been performing BBL surgery for over 19 years now. My technique is the one that I have developed on my own. The best things about it are.... Beautiful results for everyone! Not a single patient has ever lost all their fat and I don't think any have even lost as much as 50%. Most of my patients see about 80-90% fat survival. I only perform this procedure in a Hospital operating room for your safety, and keep my patients overnight in a private room, in a special wing of the hospital, away from sick patients. The downsides of my technique are..... it takes an average of 6-7 hours not a rushed 2-3. I recommend 4 weeks for recovery for best results. And, of course, it costs more. There are some things in life where..... You do get what you pay for! ....And others, that you can't put a price tag on....Safety! Good Luck!
Each surgeon is a bit different and may use different techniques, and instrumentation. You can get a nice result with many different techniques. Best to find the right doctor for you. Good luck.
Hello and thank you for the question. The Brazilian butt lift has become one of the most popular procedures today. The procedure is a combination of liposuction and fat transfer. The surgery is done under full anesthesia, and takes about 2+ hours to complete. Most patients will need 1-2 weeks off of work and about 1-2 months before you resume exercise. The success depends on both you and the plastic surgeon. Your underlying health, available fat, skin tightness and elasticity, and the size / shape of your buttocks will affect the quality of the outcome. The plastic surgeon's skills, experience and judgement in this procedure will also be key factors in the quality of your outcome. Remember that some of the fat that is transferred does not survive. Typically about 70% of the fat lasts long term.As far as safety is concerned, the most important safety factor is the doctor. Make sure you are choosing a board certified plastic surgeon in your area who does these procedures routinely. Make sure that the surgery is being performed in a fully licensed surgery center or hospital. If you are not sure, ask for the credentialing. AAAHC and AAAASF, JHACO are examples of certifying organizations. A quick google search will let you know if your doctor uses a certified center or not. There are many ways to do liposuction and bbl. each doctor will use what he/she thinks works best for their patients. Look at before and afters to see if the results speak for themselves. Beware if the after pics are "shiny". A shiny butt is stretched and new. That is an early swollen photo. a true after photo needs to be taken at least 3-4 months after surgery to allow the early swelling to resolve. By then, the skin is dry and not shiny anymore. Best to you#brazilianbuttlift
