Can I apply tea tree oil to a pimple the day after salicylic chemical peel was applied?

Thank you for submitting your question. I would wait a week until your skin has healed from the peel. As chemical peels tend to bring all impurities to the surface you may notice a bit more of a break out during this time. Wait 5-7 days and you can then move forward with the Tea Tree and don't forget to avoid direct sunlight and apply SPF daily!

Hi, Thanks for your question. Tea tree oil is not recommended soon after a peel. You can apply any antibiotic cream like clindamycin if the acne is infected and painful. Kindly consult your doctor. Good Luck. 

I don't recommend doing this. I recommend following up with a cosmetic dermatologist for after care recommendations following your peel. Acne requires a combination approach to get long term improvement. I recommend a combination of Cosmelan, salt facials, peels, lasers, microneedling/prp, blue light, radiofrequency and isotretinoin.  See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

I would wait 5-7 days before putting anything on the skin that may irritate.  You may have the pimple as a response to the peel, which is fairly common.  Consider putting a cool compress on the area or contacting the provider that did your peel.  Good luck and I hope you have great results with your peel!!
