I went under vaser lipo hi def on 1st Dec for my abdomen and flanks, almost 2 months has gone by and I hardly see any improvement specially on my flanks areas, is it still swelling ? how long should I wait to see at least the minimum result specially on my love handles ? I'm more concerned about my flanks, its still big like previously and its quite annoying too.
Answer: Results 2 Months After Vaser Lipo It may be too soon to see the final results. The final results of the procedure are typically most noticeable 2-4 months following the #Vaser. There are three types of #Vaser Lipo. Each benefit patients differently depending on their needs. Vaser Lipo is capable of removing fat from resilent areas providing a smoother and slimmer results. It is common for reducing love handles, extra skin along the bra line or flanks on many female patients. Additionally, it is often applied to the reduction of male breast surgeries, called gynecomastia surgery. Meanwhile, Vaser Hi-Def targets both deep and superficial fat cells which is found around muscle tissue. This is suggested to tone and defined rather than reduce fat when not necessary. Finally, Vaser #4D, although similar to Vaser Hi-Def works well with the existing muscle tissue.. However, it results in more natural appearing definition to those areas, being treated. Vaser 4D is often applied to treating abdominal region to improve definition. Additionally, it's not uncommon for Vaser Liposuction to combined with fat transfer which removes and transfers fat to another area of the body. Swelling after #Vaser liposuction is not uncommon. Gentle #walking may increase circulation and help to alleviate swelling. But you must not strain or push yourself. Also, if you were provided a post-procedure #garment, be sure you are wearing it until prescribed otherwise by your doctor. The purpose of the post-procedure #garment is to provide some gentle #support and to reduce swelling. If it feels too tight or causes pain, take it off. Many patients wear the #elastic garment for several weeks after procedures, as directed by their doctor; some choose to wear it longer for several months for comfort. If at any time you have any concern at all about your healing process, do not hesitate to contact your surgeon.

Answer: VASER Hi Definition Liposuction / Body Contouring with Fat Grafting You did not get a true "hi def" contouring at all. I dont see any etched lines and you have no contour change. I suggest you see an expert who was trained properly and does male body contouring like I do in my practice (see my IG/FB/yelp). Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Recovery after Vaser. Differences of various forms of Vaser Liposuction- Mid Def,High Def, 3D, 4D etc Thank you for your question and photos. There are various Vaser procedures depending how much muscle definition patient would like to achieve and how much he/she is prepared to work on to enhance the result.Mid def -leaves thin layer of fat all over and gives a hint of muscles. Fat supports well skin and problems associated with depriving skin from fat cells support are very rare in this form of Vaser, but patient has to do the rest of work trying to bulk up and tone up muscles.Older High Def Vaser (sometimes called 3D) designed to strip off almost the whole layer of subdermal fat and especially scraping it off between muscle groups (in transition grooves). Longer recovery, higher risk of seroma and skin mottling or discoloration is the price to pay for more defined muscle look. Patient still has to tone up the muscle he/she wants to show off.Newer High Def Vaser (sometimes called 4D Vaser) involves all stages like in the 3D but some of the fat sucked out is harvested and injected under the muscles to increase their projections. With time the fat that injected can become part of muscle. In other words it can give quicker bulging muscles . Risks are the same like for 3 D and patient still has to lead healthy life style.Studies shown that most of the recovery (swelling) goes after 42 days but might take up to 6 months for all tissues to settle and skin tighten.Seek advise form your surgeon for assessment of results.
