I did my BBL and now i regret it. When can I take the fat out?

Thank you for your question.It is very early to want to remove the fat. A lot of it will probably go on its own (the swelling will go as well 30-50 % of the fat injected). If after a few months you still feel the same, the fat can be suctioned out. Please discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon. All The Best !

You will usually need at least 3 months before getting a revision.   My recommendation is to wait a few more months before having lipo to remove some of the fat. You may find that you are pleased with your new shape in a few months.  The results immediately following surgery will be the largest due to swelling and lack of fat resorption.  The buttocks will continue to decrease in size for the first few weeks.   I have observed that between 4 and 6 weeks the buttocks tend to stabilize in volume.  Usually by 3 months, the swelling is minimal and totally resolved by 6 months.

Please take into consideration that you are still early on the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. At the stage you are in, inflammation is normal.
If you have any concerns, please follow up close with your plastic surgeon.

Thanks for writing,Not all the fat grafted will survive, as a result it will take 4-6 months to reach a more final result. At that point you may find the volume is adequate, it not a liposuction revision is possible. I would speak to your surgeon about what he/she believes is your best options at this point.Stephen M. How unfortunate that this has happened to you. My first response is that you should speak to a psychiatrist or counselor, so that you may gain an objective perspective. Cosmetic surgery changes one’s own body image, and working through this takes time and patience. 
Practically speaking, it would be best to wait at least 3-4 additional months before having any surgery done. The swelling can take quite along time to diminish. You may be quite surprised by the changes in your waist and buttock size 4 months from now. Try to be patient. It’s not easy, but don’t be too quick to act. Best of luck

I would suggest to follow your
Surgeon’s instruction: I agree with awaiting at least 4-6 months before any revision surgery.
The volume increase can be dramatic after surgery but this is mainly because of the swelling. Once the swelling is completely resolved you will have a better understanding of what you like or not, and your surgeon will be able to draft a much more accurate surgical plan.
