Can being diagnosed and treated for chlamydia 3 weeks before my BBL cause any complications?

Dear alexandra05221997,most plastic surgeons will recommend you to postpone your surgery until your infection is cleared but every plastic surgeon has his own postoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.Daniel Barrett, MD

If you have a serious infection such as pelvic inflammatory disease you may be on antibiotics or hospitalized for intravenous antibiotics. Otherwise with antibiotic treatment, the infection should clear up in less than two weeks. Lab tests and evaluation by your PCP will be submitted to your PS for him/her to determine if you should postpone the BBL.
