Other factors like recovery, postop care, taking time off from work may play a role in the the decision making process. From a plastic surgeons perspective, I think there are advantages starting with the tummy tuck and the mid-section first. The results of your abdominoplasty may influence your perception about the desired outcome of your breast procedure, when it comes to size and shape. Hello, thank you for your question! I think it is perfectly safe to do a tummy tuck and breast lift at the same time. Now with that said most of my patients are great candidates for that and I know a little more about them such as health history and have photos or an in person consult. If you are a healthy female with no medical problems, you should be fine to move forward and do these two surgeries together. If you wanted to space them out, you can most certainly do that and as to which one to do first is your choice.

It is usually better to start with tummy tuck and breast combination as a first stage if you are in a good health but if you want to chose one of these you must start with tummy tuck as a first stage. Pulling the skin inferiorly may change the level of under breast fold so you should get the breast surgery as a second stage. When both of them are combined, plastic surgeons almost always start with tummy and then the breast respectively.Best luck

In general, these two procedures are easily performed together and I do not typically recommend staging them. However, if you are set on a staged procedure, there is truly no order that is "better." I would say, though, that it is more common to have small asymmetries following a breast lift that can be easily corrected during a secondary procedure like a tummy tuck. For this reason, I would recommend performing the breast lift first followed by the tummy tuck.
