Will a graft in the soft tissue triangle fix the nostril asymmetry? (Photo)

Filler or fat graft should help the depression in the soft triangle area. However the nostril asymmetry is not easily fixed and excising tissue may leave an undesirable scar. The nostril asymmetry is common in people who have never had surgery and often they are not aware of it until it is pointed out. Asymmetry is the rule and trying too hard to correct it can lead to more problems. Your nose looks beautiful on straight view. I Woukd fill in the soft triangle and otherwise leave it alone.

However, I do believe a filler is likely your best option to treat the soft triangle depression, though a cartilage graft may be a more permanent solution. As for your nostrils, the asymmetry doesn’t look obvious from the photos you’ve submitted. I would not recommend further correction, as additional surgery can be risky, particularly given that you’ve already undergone revision rhinoplasty once before.

Hi, thank you for your question. It appears that, a soft triangle area retraction is the problem. Cartilage graft (your own) to this area would be much better for appearence. Nostril base: I have not seen a serious deformity. A radical touch would be dangerous. May be, a simple touch would be dramatic. Best. The Nose Clinic
