Breast reconstruction with implants - are my nipples to high? (Photo)

I had my breast reconstruction surgery with implants a few months ago and I am not satisfied with the nipple placement and the size of the implant. I wish they were a bit bigger. I wish my nipples were placed lower because when I wear some tops they peak through and also through my bras.

Nipple position that is too high is a challenging problem. For women who have been considering a breast lift to elevate nipple position, it may seem like the nipple could never be placed too high. Contrarily, nipples that are placed too high can be very bothersome and cause 'nip slips' in bras, bathing suits, and low cut tops. If this is a problem for you, nipple position can be lowered with breast reconstruction revision surgery.

Implant size is also something that can be addressed at secondary surgeries. Implant size can be increased by changing the profile, or the width of your implants. The right choice for you depends on your aesthetic goals.
