Rippling despite implant revision (Photo)

Rippling is common after breast cancer reconstruction revision. While changing to a higher cohesive gel is one way to improve, sometimes pocket size modifications to make a better "hand in glove" fit between the pocket and the implant and fat grafting can also help. Liposuction can be taking from a variety of different areas, especially in thin women, to avoid contour changes to any one area and can also be combined with 'off the shelf' fat products to expand the volume of available fat.

Fat grafting is by far the best option for for you in this circumstance. Any surgeon should be able to get enough fat to at least improve upon this problem if you are within a normal BMI range or higher.

I agree that your rippling is very visible. Even with a highly cohesive implant, this can be an issue with patients that have a very thin body habitus. I have had excellent results with fat grafting and this would be your best treatment option. Contour deformities can be an issue and may require multiple donor sites
