Interested in a breast lift and possible reduction, would I be able to achieve upper pole fullness without implants? (photos)

Based on limited photos - you appear to be a candidate for breast reduction/ lift . This operation will help you achieve smaller/ perkier breasts. If you desire more upper pole fullness -smaller implants can be placed at the same time

Unfortunately, breast lift will not increase upper fullness without implants.

Higher, slightly smaller breasts will appear full while wearing a bra, but remain similar upper poles as they are now without a bra.

Another option may be fat transfer with lift.

An exam and consultation with a plastic surgeon is recommended to discuss your options and expectations.

A lift does a few things: moves the nipple vertically up, makes the skin envelope smaller, and re-purposes the breast tissue that currently sits below the fold more centrally.
I expect that a lift will create central fullness for you, but please be very clear with your plastic surgeon about your goals....if it's truly upper pole fullness that you're looking for, a lift without an implant will not reliably achieve that goal.

The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reduce and reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. The weight of the breast is transferred to the underlying pectoralis major muscle resulting in pain relief without excessive reduction. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained.

I think you are a great candidate for a lift and/or small reduction. You will appreciate your breasts being back up appropriately on the chest wall. You will notice more upper pole fullness once tissue is moved to a higher location but it is still a natural look. I would advise doing this procedure and waiting many months to see how you feel about aesthetics. You can always add an implant at a later time if you still desire fuller upper poles.

In a case like yours doing a lift and implant at the same time is not a good idea. Very hard to get it right when you need to move the nipple that far. Get the lift only for starters. You can always add an implant later if you want.

The upper pole fullness that is achieved with a reduction/lift is limited when you compare it to implants. So if you are considering having the same upper pole then you would be disappointed. However, if you are good with have "some" more upper pole than you have now, then the breast reduction/lift would be sufficient and you would avoid the up keep of having an implant.

I would encourage you to look at before and after photos of breast reduction surgery and assess how the upper pole changes.

my preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.
