Yes, this is fine. Keep in mind, it will take 3-6 months for final results with Coolsculpting. With Coolsculpting, I recommend a combination approach. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. VASER with ThermiRF is a great alternative if you want a more contouring and defined look. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer.
We do not recommend taking turmeric the day of treatment and for two or three days after treatment. Turmeric has antiinflammatory properties and will decrease the effectiveness of CoolSculpting(r). The fat cells are killed by an inflammatory process and you should avoided turmeric along with aspirin, ibuprofen (Advil), and Neproxin. Cool Body Contouring
Turmeric should not impede your CoolSculpting results. If you are someone who likes to take it, do it. But do not take it if you are doing it just to see if it will help your end point with CoolSculpting. It takes 1-3 months to see results with CoolSculpting so be patient. Good luck.
Thanks for your question. Generally, it is not recommended to take anti-inflamatories such as ibuprofin for about 2 weeks post treatment with CoolSculpting. During this 2 week period, the treated areas tend to swell as the body rushes fluids in to begin removing the fat cells that have been destroyed. This a natural process and is necessary to achieving results faster. However, the dead fat cells will be removed, one way or another, whether you take anti-inflamatories or not. It will just take longer. I would doubt that taking turmeric will make much of a significant difference one way or the other. Good luck with your CoolSculpting.
Thank you for your question. Coolsculpting permanently destroys up to 25% of fat cells per treatment. Fat cells in the treated area are frozen leading to cell death, with the use of cooling technology. These cells are then naturally eliminated from your body. I recommend having a consultation ...
