Tumeric for healing and post op results?

I have been reading about natural ways to help the healing process post op. Came across tumeric, it’s been found to be good for a lot of things like a painkillers, anti inflammatory is it common to use it post op breast lift w/implants if so any significant progress than those who used traditional medicine post op?

Turmeric is an anti-inflammatory.  Many people use it as a natural alternative to Motrin or Advil.  Check with your surgeon before taking it though.as it may slow blood clotting.

Actually, tumeric is one of natures most powerful anti-inflammatories. I highly recommend it, but not within two weeks before surgery and 5 days after surgery. It may cause problems with your clotting system. I'm not sure of this, however. Better see than sorry though.
The numeric that I particularly like is liposomal tumeric made by PuraThrive. It is supposed to be absorbed 180 times better than other forms.

Many of my patients have taken this after surgery and feel that it is helpful.  It has known anti inflammatory properties and people take it for various problems. However, I would advise you to check in with your surgeon prior to taking any supplements or medications.
