I also had a lollipop lift. I’m very unhappy because I’m very small. I feel that my current boobs are smaller than the ones I had before surgery. I asked to go bigger, but the doctor said based on my measurements I would run the risk of having saggy and dropping would accrue much more faster. Could I have gotten bigger implants safely?
Answer: Too small after breast augmentation/lifting surgery… I am sorry to hear about your concerns after breast augmentation/lifting surgery. As you may be aware, the use of breast implants that are too large for a patient's frame may be very problematic. This is especially true when a combination breast augmentation/lifting procedure is performed. Online consultants, not having been present at your procedure, will not be able to specifically tell you whether or not larger breast implants could have been used safely. At this point, best to give yourself at least six months before evaluating the final outcome of the procedure performed. If, at that point, you remain displeased, the use of larger breast implants will likely be possible, safely. Best wishes.

Answer: Too small implants: 3 weeks post op with silicone MP to 355cc right, 325 left implants. Thank you for your questions. Sorry to hear you are not happy with your results. Keep in mind that you are only three weeks out from surgery and you need to be patient. Once everything is healed and settled, you can discuss a revision procedure and placement of larger implants if you want. I would wait at least 6-12 months before considering a revision. Placing a larger implant at the time of the lift can increase the risks of complications and maybe it was wise to not do it at the same time. Keep in touch with your surgeon as things heal and discuss with him or her your concerns and goals.Best of luck!

Answer: BA results Dear reallymad,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process at 3 weeks post op.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast augmentation surgery.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Answer: Implant sizing Thanks for the great question. It's difficult to answer this without seeing you in person prior to your original surgery. Whenever performing a breast lift with implants it's always a bit of a balancing act. The implant is putting pressure on the skin and the skin needs to be tightened around the implant. If too big of an implant is used, then there is risk of not being able to close the skin around the implant or too much tension in the closure resulting in wound healing issues. It's estimated that a lift will decrease a woman's bra by about 1 cup size and that every 150-175cc of implants used results in an increase in one cup size. So based on the information you provided, you should be about a cup size large than what you began with. If you're not happy with the size, then I would let your incisions heal, then have your implants exchanged to a larger size! Best of luck!~Dr. Sieber

Answer: Too small implants: 3 weeks post op with silicone MP to 355cc right, 325 left implants. The implants will not be the reason you could sag later in life. Sagging is determined by the ligaments in your breast. Saggy breast are hereditary. You have nice size implants, so you are larger than you were prior to surgery. Implants add volume to the breast. Discuss your concerns with your surgeon. You may just need time to heal and the breast to settle into the breast pockets.
