This isn't too uncommon. If the surrounding area isn't red or painful, then it's usually due to a stitch at the surface. I would definitely let your surgeon know about it. If it gets worse or persistent, you might need a short course of antibiotics and as well a topical antibiotic just to protect from getting a deeper infection that could potentially compromise your implant.

Dear bsoto86,this type of wound is not uncommon after breast lift. It is usually caused by spitting stitch. I would suggest you to consult your plastic surgeon, follow your surgeon's instructions and keep your wound clean and covered. are usually sutures working their way out.  But depending on how your surgeon did the procedure, could be more significant so its best to see you surgeon for an exam and recommendations on wound care.  If you develop any spreading redness or increasing pain in the area, the situation is more concerning.

It looks like that was an area where a suture has not fully dissolved yet. It will heal on its own with time. The drainage is just the reaction to the suture being seen as a foreign body.
