Answer: MiraDry treatments I think miraDry is a fantastic treatment. It works extremely well for a large number of patients. But, like any treatment or procedure, not all patients get the same great results. It’s completely reasonable to repeat the procedure again if you and your physician deem it necessary.

Answer: Sweating after MirAdry some swelling would be normal in particular if you had severe hyperhidrosis to begin with. It is possible you would require a third treatment and the energy setting used may also be a consideration. When you go in for your next evaluation and potential treatment do a starch iodine test to best locate where your hyperhidrosis or swelling is occurring.mirAdry is a very effective technology but the degree to which it helps various patients depends on the patient's own anatomy, severity of hyperhidrosis, and the energy settings and number of treatments with the machine.Chase Lay, MD
