How long should I wait before I can get Laser hair removal on armpits after MiraDry?

I would wait until you feel there is no discomfort underneath your arms after your miraDry procedure this could be anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks. At this point you should be able to tolerate the amount of energy that a laser hair removal device provides.  Also remember that you will get some hair reduction after the miraDry procedure as it is heating the same tissue level as the hair follicles.

The miraDry® system eliminates the underarm sweat glands, and the sweat glands don’t grow back after treatment. This results in a dramatic and lasting reduction of embarrassing underarm sweat. In a clinical study, patients experienced an average of 82% reduction in underarm sweat. You should notice a reduction in sweat immediately after a single miraDry® treatment. As with any medical procedure, results will vary by person. 80% of our patients need only one treatment. Secondary effects include underarm hair and odor reduction. As you have experienced yourself, miraDry can cause some discomfort after the procedure and it is not likley that you will seek any treatment when the area is bruised, tender, sore. I would wait 2 weeks before you schedule anything else.Remember, miraDry has also been shown to reduce hair growth !  So, before you spend big money on laser hair remova, it may be prudent to wait 6 weeks to see if hair growth is affected in a positive manner in your case. Read the miraDry book - 1st and only book about the subject
