Answer: Post procedure care for miraDry A day or two later you can still expect some hyperhidrosis from the treated area. Expect the underarms to be dry at 1 week and for some residual dampness at 3 month follow up. It should not be as severe as it was pre treatment # 1. If there is residual hyperhidrosis at 3 months, you may elect to have a second treatment. Read the miraDry book provided on the link below.

Answer: What to expect one day after MiraDry Swelling and tenderness is normal and expected. Some warmth might be expected too due to inflammation from the treatment. It is probably normal what you are experiencing but if there is any redness spreading out from the axilla (armpit), you should call the doctor's office to make sure that there is no infection. With regard to sweating, most people do experience some immediate reduction in sweat, but if you do not, you should just wait and see how you do once the inflammation subsides. There is a second treatment recommended because not everyone is satisfied after just one treatment. There is a 90% satisfaction rate after two treatments though. If you do still have sweating after two treatments, do ask for a starch-iodine test to see if your residual sweat is outside of the treatment area, in which case it may not be something that can be treated with MiraDry.
