Had BA 4 months ago. I was a B before and wanted to be a full C. My doc said to get 425cc under the muscle saline, Which I know now is Bigger than full C! 1 implant was overfilled to 435cc since one breast was smaller. The overfilled 1 has less rippling but both are noticeable! The rippling can be seen when I bend over without bra. I also have a slight red mark around one nipple that I noticed 2 months after surgery. My scars are red. Do you think this is grounds for a redo? Am I overreacting?
Answer: Options Standard saline implants in slender women are known to have a significant ripple rate, even under the muscle. Otherwise, your shape and results look pretty good. Of course, if you feel the size is too large - then that in itself would be a reason to make a change.Switching to a silicone implant would be one option to reduce the rippling. If your tissues are very thin, you might consider using one of the gel implants with more cohesive gel.You could also add in Strattice to fat grafting to improve the tissue thickness.Speak to your surgeon, and see what he/she might offer you, in terms of revisions. It might be best, if the communication is unsatisfactory, to consider a second opinion. However, there will be costs involved.

Answer: Rippling in mainly one implant and too big for my taste. Many questions because my doctor always hurries me out. Thank you for sharing your excellent question and photographs. I see your area of concern and though your rippling is mild only you can determine if it is too much for your desires. Rippling does tend to occur to a greater degree with saline implants and implants that are large relative to your starting breast volume. Though almost always occuring along the lower and outer portion of your feast you can improve upon this with the use of higher fill silicone implants that have a thicker, more cohesive interior gel and downsizing to a smaller cc. Hope this helps.

Answer: Tough choices You have to decide if you want to keep or fire your doctor. Communication is key and it seems like it is not what you want right now. If too big you can remove implants and wait 3-4 months and then put in smaller gel implants that will not wrinkle and be the size you want. Yes this costs more money but at this point you can keep what you have or make the change. Please update us.

Ask you doctor.Only you know if the implants are too large. If you are not comfortable, the implant size can be reduced.I use silicone sheets for my patients to prevent red scars. Answer: Rippling in mainly one implant and too big for my taste. Many questions because my doctor always hurries me out (Photo) Fist the result looks very good. If you have ripples than why did you use saline? Exchanging to smaller size with saline will NOT alleviate the ripples. Best to try silicone memory gets. Otherwise all the other issues are normal healing. But maybe you need to seek in person paid second opinions from only barde PSs in yr area.
