Contour deformities can and do occur after liposuction. This was especially true in the 80s and 90s when "superficial liposuction" was all the rage. This is also true in the context of a BBL when overaggressive liposuction is performed in the name of fat grafting. I always try to leave a healthy and even layer of fat behind to avoid this. One potential solution is revision liposuction. If you were doing this procedure, I would remove the residual donut of fat around your umbilicus and then perform what some people call SAFE liposuction where a specialized blending cannula is used to blend the remaining fat without removing it. Fat grafting could be used as a last resort if necessary. Find a surgeon in Florida who is comfortable with these techniques.
