I had a BA about 10 months ago, 400cc cohesive gel round smooth UHP under the muscle, incision in the fold. I am very happy with my results and have had a smooth recovery. I am 23 weeks pregnant and I'm having a hard time finding information about how my breasts will feel or what differences I can expect during pregnancy and with breastfeeding. I am sore and tender around the nipples. Is this normal?

Answer: Pregnancy and breast implants. Hi, Thanks for posting your question. I am happy to try and help you. It is important to remember that a board certified plastic surgeon will be your best resource when it comes to an accurate assessment of your situation, and concerns. Having said that, your breasts will respond to the pregnancy by getting larger and heavier. The milk will come in afterwards and also contribute to stretch. How your body and breasts respond to the after, is up to your genetics. You may get a nice bounce back or you may be droopy. It depends. I hope you found this helpful. A Have a great day.

Answer: Changes Every women is different, but you may experience similar things to women in your family who have your similar breast size. Most women do notice tenderness and some swelling in their breasts even at a very early stage. Some breasts change a lot--bigger or smaller, and some breasts do not. Also, every pregnancy is a little different as you age. Your implants, however, will remain the same. Congratulations about your new baby! Your ob/gyn doctor may suggest some helpful reading material about what you may expect during your pregnancy and about the growth of your baby.
