Is eye revision really going to help? (photos)

Question

IS REVISION REALLY GOING TO HELP??? I am concerned if It will be better or worse. The stitches on my right eye opened on day 3 . I went back and had it taped up with steri strips. I have a bigger scar on that eye, the lid is lower and both eyes have way less lid. I couldn't shut my right eye all the way for months. They look lifeless now. I wish I didn't listen to the suggestion about doing my eyes the day before surgery. My eyes were my best feature:(

Thank you for sharing your concerns. Sorry to hear how unhappy you are with the results. From your photographs it is not possible to see the problems. In your before photo you are not looking straight into the camera. Get a second opinion in person with an experienced Oculoplastic Surgeon who can give you proper guidance. Good luck.

and in my opinion, you have a very nice result from lid surgery as your creases are near symmetrical.  If you wanted a wide fold as you had before surgery, I hope you conveyed this to your surgeon.  Regardless, at this point, you should discuss your concerns with your surgeon and find out what options, if any, are out there to help you achieve your goals.  From your photos, I would think a browlift would help you the most but that is just my opinion.
