Right boob hasn't dropped. 3 months post op. Is this normal? Do I have capsular contractor? (photo)

Hello,From the photos and your description, it sounds like CC. Although the others make it a point that it takes more time (I like to wait 6 months because many mild contractures go away), yours is looking substantial. Still, you should wait. Although you didn't mention it, there is no reason to 'massage the implants' or take Singulair/Accolate, high dose vitamin E, or antibiotics. None of these measures prevents or treats CC, only surgery. If you find yourself in need of revision surgery, be sure yours is a seasoned specialist who is an ABPS certified/ASAPS member. Dear valarievosburgh,dropping of implants is part of the healing process and this occurs after the tissues surrounding the implants slowly relax, allowing the implants to settle into their final position. It can take about four to six months for the implant to drop down to their final position.I understand that you are worried about your implants are not dropping as expected. However, you are still in the early phase of the recovery period. Please do allow some time for the healing process to occur. Just remember that no two breasts ever look the same or heal at the same rate. Hard to comment on your photos without seeing any preop pictures. I typically advise my patients to wait a good 4-6 months to see their final results to allow all the swelling to resolve and to let the implants drop and settle some. Best to follow up with your operating surgeon so your progress can be monitored. Also, you may want to start massaging the right breast to help the implant settle in its pocket. Good luck!
