Alarplasty vs rhinoplasty experience when choosing a surgeon?

I understand that an alarplasty can be performed under local anesthesia. I've had two consultations and have been told I'd be a good candidate for alarplasty by itself. Both doctors have 150+ reviews and almost 5 stars, both double board certified. Is this procedure more of a specialty or can most good surgeons perform it well? For example, for asians, I know it's suggested for them to find a doctor who specialized in that area. Can most rhinoplasty surgeons do an alarplasty well?

Some surgeons do alarplasty much  more commonly than others. There are surgeons who never do them. And there are surgeons who do them too small so they make hardly any change at all. So make sure you look at lots of pictures. You don’t need to be an Asian rhinoplasty expert

Who is qualified to perform an alar plasty? an alarplasty is a very small and rather simple procedure that is usually done in the office under local anesthesia. Any plastic surgeon, facial plastic surgeon, or ENT surgeon who has experience with nasal surgery including rhinoplasty should do more or less the same quality Alar plasty.
