Advice on 325cc high profile vs 375cc ultra high profile?

After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size breast implants. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. In the long run, theoretically (since you did not show any photos), very likely that you will not see much of the difference regardless of which implant your choose. Considering your petit frame, I would suggest a smaller implant. Hope this may help. Good luck.

Because of your petite stature, I would recommend staying on the smaller side with implants at least the first surgical time. In my world of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery I follow a few simple rules. Number one, just because we can doesn’t mean we should. Number two, the bigger, the implant, the bigger the problem. Number three, less is more.

Most common implants for breast augmentation are moderate, moderate plus, or high profile. Ultra high profile implants are the narrowest most commonly used in breast reconstruction (patients who have mastectomy). As implants narrow, the risk of them flipping increases.

If you are wanting more of a natural look the 325cc will be the right choice. The 375cc ultra high will give you more of a full rounded look. I encourage you to further discuss your goals with your surgeon. Many have sample implants you can "try on" to give you an idea of how you may look after surgery.

Both should be ok. You might consider splitting the size with 360 ultra high profile. I would not go larger than 375 in you. The smaller size of 325 will look a little more natural for you.

Implant selection should be done with careful guidance by your provider. I generally adhere to using the breast diameter as a guideline for the primary determinant of one implant to use. The choice of profile depends on the volume augmentation desired. Lower profile implants generally look more natural well high profile’s have more of a tennis ball on the chest appearance. Without including pictures it’s difficult to give you any type of quality assessment. Simply giving your estimated breast diameter is insufficient.
There is some inherent subjectivity of measuring breast diameter since the actual pocket where the implant sits, it’s not related to the breast at all. The pocket is place under the pectoralis muscle. The implant pocket can be made larger than the measured diameter of the breast but surgeons should be careful not to violate anatomic boundaries to an excess.
Perhaps the most important single variable is provider selection. I generally recommend patients have multiple in person consultations before choosing a provider.
I find using pictures is one of the most accurate ways of communicating between provider and patient when it comes to breast augmentation surgery. I particularly like having patients use certain websites where patients can enter their own height and weight, and see examples of other patients, who had similar body characteristics to their own seeing the results using exact implant information
other variables that are important to take into consideration is the distance between the breast. Women who have breast that’s it further apart, or are highly divergent, made you better choosing a lower profile implant with a wider diameter regardless of their breast diameter measurements.
Some women prefer high projection, even if the appearance isn’t natural.
