Ultrasound images for breast augmentation

every plastic surgeon has his own preoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. Some surgeons don't require their patients US prior to surgery. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.

The quickest way may be to pick up the disc from the ultrasound location and hand-deliver it to your plastic surgeon’s office. You can also ask for the radiologist’s report of the ultrasound images and have them fax the report to your surgeon.

Check with the Tech if you can take the disc along with you the day of the ultrasound. You can bring it to your surgeon office. They will also send a report directly to the doctor. Best wishes!

Ask for the written report from the radiologist to be faxed to your surgeon. Your surgeon can then request the images if needed.

Does your surgeon need the actual images or just the report? The report should be available within a few days of the ultrasound. If the actual disc is needed you can often go to the imaging center and pick up the disc to take to your surgeon.
