I had restylane filler injected into tear trough area and it seems to have moved up under eyes and made bags that were not there before making my eyes look worse. I do not want to get it dissolved if possible but is there anything else I can do? Can I push it back down?
Answer: Tear Trough Injections (Volbella, Restylane, Belotero) results--reverse with hyaluronidase, wait 2 weeks It is unlikely that filler migrated upwards. Also, I'm not sure when you had your injections, but it can take 1-2 weeks for final results, as swelling resolves. If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Bags on lowers eyelids after Restylane injections Thank you for sharing your questions and sharing your photos. You either have swelling from the injection, too much filler placed or filler injected in the wrong location. If the puffiness does not resolve, then only dissolving it will help. See an experienced Oculoplastic Surgeon for detailed in person evaluation. Good luck,

Answer: Migrating filler? Reverse with hyaluronidase Filler wouldn't normally migrate upwards, against gravity. However, I recommend following up with your injector. If necessary, the filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. Hope this helps.

Answer: Undereye Filler Migration? It is unlikely the filler migrated upwards. Swelling is common after filler treatment, and it can take up to 2 weeks for the majority of swelling to subside. If you still have concerns after 2 weeks post treatment, meet with your injector to evaluate your results. Hyaluronidase can be used to reverse the effects of the filler.Best Wishes, Dr. Aldo Guerra

Answer: Under eye fat bags after filler possible Although it is easy to assume the fullness you have is filler, don't eliminate the idea that new fat bags could have developed. I have published on this topic. See an oculoplastic surgeon for evaluation.
