Cost estimate for tear trough filler in NYC on the high end?

I'm going to a "fancy" dermatologist in Manhattan to get my tear troughs filled this week. I'm bracing myself for it to be pricey, but I'm worried I might be absolutely blindsided by the price. I was wondering if anyone can give me an estimate on what this might cost at one of the posher places? I was thinking around $2K, but I'm worried it will be closer to $5K, in which case I'll have to very sadly leave and pay an expensive consultation fee.

Thank you vvv03 for your question.  Typically a syringe of Restylane for the tear trough area costs about $725 per syringe. Prices may vary slightly and typically 1 syringe is enough to do that particular area.  Some patients may require a 2nd syringe but that is depending on how severe the hollowness is. Best of luck to you.
