I'm going to a "fancy" dermatologist in Manhattan to get my tear troughs filled this week. I'm bracing myself for it to be pricey, but I'm worried I might be absolutely blindsided by the price. I was wondering if anyone can give me an estimate on what this might cost at one of the posher places? I was thinking around $2K, but I'm worried it will be closer to $5K, in which case I'll have to very sadly leave and pay an expensive consultation fee.

Thank you for your question. From your photos, this appears to be an infection and needs immediate care. If HA filler was injected it can be dissolved with an enzyme known as hyaluronidase. I recommend having a follow up right away with your injector for an evaluation. Best of Luck!
