Are broken capillaries normal after dermal fillers on cheek?

I recently got Restylane skin boosters to my cheek for acne scarring. It was very red in the beginning but it has been 9 days now and there are still residual red marks. Could this be broken capillaries and if so are these permanent? Thank you

Thank you for your question and photos.  Any time you get an injection of any filler or fat, there is a possibility that you could have injury to small blood vessels in the region.  This could lead to bruising or redness in the skin, such as you are experiencing.  These changes usually are not permanent and often resolve within 2 weeks.  If this persists beyond 3 or 4 weeks, let your injector know - there may or may not be treatment options available, but it is still best to see your provider for follow up and follow his/her recommendations.
