Are broken capillaries normal after dermal fillers on cheek?

I recently got Restylane skin boosters to my cheek for acne scarring. It was very red in the beginning but it has been 9 days now and there are still residual red marks. Could this be broken capillaries and if so are these permanent? Thank you

I recommend waiting two weeks prior to any adjustments. If you are unhappy with the results after two weeks, you can dissolve with product with Hyaluronidase. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!

The filler if it is restylane should be broken down and removed with Hyaluronidase.  Be certain what the product was.  Certain products are prone to this including semipermanent fillers that can train to the skin. If this truly was Restylane, the lesion represents an indolent infection and t...

Yes, this can be typical. I would wait a full 2 weeks before judging the results. If it is after the two week wait, you can have the filler reversed with hyaluronidase. I hope this helps!
