Can micro-needling build volume in temples over time with repeated procedures?

My temples are getting hollow, I know filler is the best option for volume but I'm really trying to avoid it if possible. Can micro needling build up volume over time if done often enough, say over a years time if done once a month? Thank you!

Great question! Although microneedling is shown to stimulate collagen and elasticity while allowing the skin to repair itself, minimizing the appearance of acne scars and large pores, it will not build up enough to increase cheek volume. It's best to consult with your plastic surgeon regarding a possible filler such as Voluma, to increase cheek volume.

Hi Lolo.  We are not big proponents of microneedling, but even if it is successful at building some collagen to say improve acne scars, it will not add volume like a filler.  It seems that you would spend much more on microneedling once a month, so why not do the filler instead?  See the link below for an example of Perlane for volume in the temples.
