I'm curious to learn more about the "scarless" breast lift option (duo plane method), which apparently requires only a very small incision and leaves almostno scarring. I would absolutely need to keep my natural appearance and feel, and I'm happy with the size of my breasts. So I'm only thinking about a lift. Can anyone speak to this technique and provide any insight? For reference, I'm 44 and have had and brrastfed 2 kids. I'm in generally good shape and healthy. Also, photos for reference.
Answer: Am I a "scarless" breast lift candidate? Thank you for your question. Breast lift surgery raises and firms the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue to reshape and support the new breast contour. All breast lifts require external incisions – while some scars will remain, breast lift patients find that the improved breast shape is well worth the tradeoff. A breast lift can rejuvenate your figure with a breast profile that is youthful and uplifted.

Answer: Breast Lift Techniques, Incisions and Scarring Hi DC115, Breast lift surgery aims to re-volumize the breast with either and natural implant or fat grafting followed by nipple repositioning using the lift. I prefer to use a vertical incision (lollipop pattern) breast reduction technique instead of the anchor scar pattern for more significant lifts. This reduces more noticeable scarring than usual. Mastopexy that requires less than 2cm of lift only needs a donut incision. Every incision is also closed in five precise layers without using reactive sutures that can cause inflammation and eventual scarring. If you are considering a breast lift, you should consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options and make sure your surgeon understands your goals. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Scarless breast lift based on your photographs you are an excellent candidate for breast lift surgery. You have adequate volume. I have been very pleased with the pectoral Loop breast lift procedure which shapes the breast internally and does not rely on the skin for shaping. You would be an excellent candidate for such a procedure. All breast lift procedures require some sort of incision depending on how much skin excess you have. The scars typically fade over time and are very acceptable. Non-surgical modalities using radio frequency or other skin tightening energy modalities are inconsistent and not reliable. Hope this helps. Good luck.
