Is it safe to have a BBL after laparoscopic surgery (July 2017 date) & hysteroscopy procedure to numb pain (April 12, 2019)?

I want to get a BBL but I had laparoscopic sugery done for a cyst drainage on my right Fallopian tube and then I had a Hysterectomy to numb the nerve that starts near my groin/ovary area and pelvis. I just wanted to know if it is safe to get a BBL when the pelvis and Abdomen have been through the trauma & if having pain in that area will effect my BBL procedure ?

Great question!  Laparoscopic surgeries are great in the fact that they create very little trauma to the skin and fatty tissue.  As long as you are healthy and can undergo general anesthesia, then yes it can be safe to have a BBL surgery.  I have all my patients get a medical clearance so that a primary care doctors can assess all risk factors and if you pass, then your risk should be very low.Best of luck and hope this information helps!

If your recovery from those procedures are uneventful, you can still have a BBL if you're a good candidate for the surgery.  I recommend seeing a plastic surgeon for consultation once you've healed from the upcoming surgeries.

do recovery from laparoscopic surgery is usually pretty quick. These procedures are generally called minimally invasive. Most plastic surgeons would probably recommend waiting at least three months. Your issues with pain should be discussed during an in person consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon. Describe where your pain is and ideally the etiology of your pain. If the pain is in the gluteal region then a BBL could potential change things. Best, Mats Hagstrom M.D.

Yes, it should not interfere with that for I go quite superficial and not deep to place the fat into the buttock area.
