I had a consultation for Invisalign and was told I was not a candidate because of my crossbite. Another orthodontist was offering free consultations for people who had been turned down for Invisalign. He said I was a candidate as long as I wore elastics. My treatment was supposed to be 18 mo. It has been 39 mo. and I'm still in crossbite. His solution is to tip my bottom teeth inward so I can close my bite. I hate how this looks. Now he says I have an unrealistic expectation.
