Is it normal not to have a bite after invisalign? My molars do not touch and I am on my last three trays.

A visit to your Dentist is needed to evaluate your bite and to see if additional aligners are needed to bring your bite onto the back molars or if a simple bite adjustment (chewing surfaces reduced and polished to allow for proper bite) is needed after your last tray to allow for the teeth to have an equal bite on the back molars.

It not unusual for the bite to be off. Teeth change angles and tip so you might have to previously in worn area touching each other. Often at end of treatment a small amount of smoothing is necessary to blend the bite to final finish. Worst case scenario, a few more trays are made to finalize your bite. Enjoy your smile. Dr. E
