What is the difference between the Extended Biplanar Lip Lift and The modified upper lip lift?

I'm having such a hard time choosing between surgeons in US that specialize in liplifts. I really love the before & after results from 2 different doctors. Both explain they have developed a technique that provides minimal scarring and natural results. Even though there is a description on their website, I really don't have the medical/professional background to decide which one would give the best, long lasting results. Thank you for your opinion on the matter!

Lip lift experience, type and results.  there are basically two types of lip lifts - the bullhorn with scars on the outside of the ala and the M type without. I have preferred the M type and have never had an unfavorable result in 44 years of doing these! I have seen many patients with the Bullhorn with bad scars that cannot be corrected. Choose wisely

Every lip lift surgeon has his/her own style, regardless of what we name our version of the procedure (mine is the Elelyft). The best way for you to choose a surgeon is to make sure first that you like their before/after results and then schedule a consultation to learn the ins and outs of their techniques and ask some tough questions! 
Consult with an experienced lip surgeon for a complete range of options that are appropriate for your situation.

The names don't really matter that much. Surgeons often give procedures new names for marketing purposes, so don't get caught up in it. Look at the results and choose a surgeon you feel you can trust and work with after you consult with them. All lip lifts have an incision under the nose and skin removed. Sometimes we dissect the skin and the muscle more in some patients who need more roll or less roll etc. You need a surgeon with good judgement on how much to remove and the technique to close it perfectly so you don't have visible scarring.
