There are a few papers documenting that a Lefort 1 procedure with maxillary impaction in combination with a lip lift are a good option to correct long face syndrome. In my case what I have is a long philtrum area (19mm) but I also have lips which are already pretty thick (17mm). Are there any ways of reducing the philtrum (soft tissue) without making the lips any thicker?
